Chapter Two
Breast Size & Shape:
Just Right, Too Big, Too Small, Uneven
In biology class in sixth grade I remember telling the class that genes don't always matter with breast size because, example A, my mom is very voluptuous... and then I continued to announce to the whole class while pointing at my chest: ‘But see? I'm flat as a pancake!’

I am smart and have a lot of friends, but I’ve never felt pretty because my breasts are so small. I’m barely an A and I’ve been 5’10 ½ since 10th grade. I can tell you, every night since I was eleven, when my girlfriends started to develop breasts, I’ve prayed (I’ve been raised Catholic): ‘Our Father…God bless Mommy, Dad, Mickey, Chrissie, Casey, Kansas – who was my brother’s dog – and please God, let me wake up tomorrow with some boobs.

I’ve been in beauty pageants and breast size matters. They use tape to lift them up but there’re no breasts on me to even tape up or move together.
